Do I need lifeguards, or can I operate my pool with maintenance-only services?
The requirement for certified lifeguards depends on local laws and the time of year. For instance, pools in certain jurisdictions, like Washington D.C. Where do you get your lifeguard staff from?
We recruit from a combination of domestic staff and international college-aged students through the Summer Work and Travel Program.
What is the ratio between local and international staff?

We also use our robust international staffing capability to ensure good staffing levels throughout the entire season—especially at the beginning and end—and to address any shortage of local candidates in metropolitan areas like the DMV and Boston.
