Instructor-led course – the course time (to cover all course content and conduct activities) is 29 hours and 35 minutes divided into a three-day course, including both classroom instruction and skill practice in the water.
Lifeguarding Blended Learning Course
Blended learning combines online learning with in-person skills sessions where you will practice skills and demonstrate competency.
The online course time is about 7 hours, plus 20 hours and 45 minutes of in-person instruction over a two-day course split between classroom instruction and skill practice in the water.
Both courses require the completion of swimming prerequisites which can be found on our Training Resources page.
