Eligibility:
- Only applicants and current employees for the Summer 2026 season are eligible to participate.
- Both you and the referred person must become employed for Summer 2026 and work a minimum of 50 hours.
- The referred candidate must not be a current or former employee of High Sierra Pools and can only be referred once.
Earnings Potential:
- Multi-Guard Pool Lifeguard:
- $75 per referral for hires before June 15, 2026, after your friend works 75 hours.
- $50 per referral for hires after June 15, 2026, after your friend works 50 hours.
- Single-Guard Pool Lifeguard:
- $100 per referral, after the referred friend works 100 hours.
- Area Lifeguard or Pool Manager/Assistant Manager

- $150 per referral, after the referred friend works 150 hours.
- Indoor Pool Lifeguard:
- $100 per referral, after the referred friend works 100 hours.
- Bonus for Multiple Referrals:
- Additional $75 if you refer 3 or more friends.
Payment Timeline:
Referral incentives are paid on the pay date following when the referred friend meets the required hours, provided all conditions of employment and referral qualifications are met.
Referral Process Guidelines for Online Applications
At the end of the online application, applicants should select “Referral from a friend” under the question “How did you hear about us?” and enter the name of their referrer in the “Friend name” field.
Only one referrer’s name can be included per application; including more than one will disqualify the referral. If the referrer’s name is not entered during the application process, the application will not be counted as a referral.
The Summer 2026 program closes on August 13; all referral applicants must be hired on or before that date to be eligible. If any of the required conditions is not met, the incentive will not be awarded.
