Radek Kaczor, Vice President
Radek is constantly advancing our business by sourcing new customers and ensuring continued excellent service to existing customers. He communicates with property management companies and commercial facility managers to promote our services. Richard Smekal, Vice President
Richard assumed his position in 2009, with the responsibility of the company’s operations, training, and development, communication with corporate clients and business development. He is also actively involved in the company’s operations and technology-related initiatives. With High Sierra since 2005, he has held a variety of positions in the areas of operations and business development. With over 8 years of industry experience, he plays an instrumental role in the development of Sierra’s leading-edge technology initiatives, including the company’s revenue management. Richard received his Master’s Degree Diploma from Charles University in Prague and he also holds a number of industry certifications: National Swimming Pool Foundation Instructor, Association of Pool and Spa Professionals. Veronika Kaczor, Safety and Training Director
Veronika manages all of Sierra safety programs including lifeguard training and swimming lessons. She ensures that all lifeguards are appropriately certified before they start working and remain current in their certifications. Her team of instructors conducts Lifeguard, CPR and AED Training year-round. Veronika also supervises our team of safety inspectors that perform in-service training and daily safety audits so that lifeguards stay up-to-date with their skills. Adrienne Barile, SPHR, Director of Human Resources
Adrienne oversees the Human Resources Department, which is dedicated to finding the best prospective employees and supporting them on the job. Adrienne has more than 20 years of staffing and HR experience in the hospitality industry. Martin Pekarek, Division Manager
Martin started as a lifeguard in 2004 and quickly moved into a pool manager role, then Area Supervisor. In 2008 he was promoted to Regional Manager for Massachusetts and has been successfully managing ever since. Today, High Sierra Pools is the largest pool company in that region and is proudly serving aquatic facilities of all types.

Boris Borisov, Director of Service
Boris Borisov is Director of Service for High Sierra Pools. Born and raised in High Sierra, he has a strong commitment to the community and a drive to exemplify excellence in all areas of service. Boris is highly educated in both academics and hands-on experience in his career field. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economy of Arts and Logistics as well as engineering credits from Genesis University. His education helped him to set the foundation on which he would build a successful career as an industry professional. His dedication to everything he does pushed him forward seeking out opportunities for growth.
Boris began his career with High Sierra Pools in 2003 and devoted himself to learning everything he could about every facet of the company and how to best utilize his skills to promote excellence and provide unparalleled service. His early experience included work serving in the operations workforce as well as demonstrating strong leadership in management. Taking the lessons learned in each role, Boris continued to grow with the company ultimately finding his true passion. The Constructions and Renovations department became his professional home as it allowed him to put his set of skills to great use helping to advance the company.
As a committed and motivated Contractor, Boris ensures operational success by coordinating efforts between corporate leads and an extensive network of skilled subcontractors. In addition to meeting client goals and expectations through planning and coordination, Boris further serves the company as an NSPF Instructor. Sharing his knowledge and critical thinking skills, he plays an integral role in driving company success. Boris’ unique perspectives and demonstrated history of work in the recreational facilities and services industry along with his vast knowledge of submerged structures, hydrodynamics, and so much more put him in a one of a kind position to offer excellent service to his clients and his community.
