Summer 2023 Opening Bonuses
Help us kick off Summer 2023 and boost your paycheck with these Opening Bonuses!
We can’t wait for Summer 2023, and we’re kicking it off with special bonuses for working during our busy opening time.
For local lifeguards at summer outdoor pools:
- $75 bonus: for working a shift each day on 5/27, 5/28 & 5/29 (Memorial Day Weekend: Saturday, Sunday, Monday)
- This is in addition to your regular pay including any overtime hours you might work those weeks
For local lifeguards working as pool managers /assistant managers or at single-guard outdoor pool facilities:
- $150 bonus: for working a shift each day on 5/27, 5/28 & 5/29 (Memorial Day Weekend: Saturday, Sunday, Monday)
- This is in addition to your regular pay including any overtime hours you might work those weeks
For year-round lifeguards assigned to indoor pools:
- $150 bonus: for working a shift each day on 5/27, 5/28 & 5/29 (Memorial Day Weekend)
- $300 bonus: for working at least 300 lifeguard hours between March 4 and June 4, 2023
- This is in addition to your regular pay including any overtime hours you might work those weeks
Eligibility & Payment
To be eligible, you must work a scheduled shift each day listed and remain actively employed through June 12, 2023. In the unlikely event of inclement weather pool closures, this will be treated as a shift worked as long as the employee reported and worked until the facility was required to close.
Bonuses will be paid on the checks for pay date June 19, 2023. Employees are responsible for utilizing the HSP Heroes clock-in system to ensure timely and correct payment of hours and bonuses.
