2025 HIGH SIERRA POOLS U.S. REFERRAL PROGRAM
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
YOUR GOALS ARE
- Help us find new lifeguard team members that will work to ensure safer swimming pools and an enjoyable summer for our patrons
- Work with friends
- Earn some $$$ for yourself along the way!
- PURPOSE
The Referral Program is used to provide an incentive to both you and your referral as follows (both must be High Sierra current applicants – for the 2025 Summer Season) updated/effective November 4, 2024.
- For referring a multi-guard pool lifeguard, hired on or before June 16, 2025: $75* per referral for you and $75 for your friend, after your friend works 75 hours, for referring a multi-guard pool lifeguard, hired after June 16, 2025: $50* per referral for you and $50 for your friend, after your friend works 50 hours;
- For referring a single-guard pool lifeguard: $100* per referral for your and $100 for your friend, after your friend works 100 hours;
- For referring an area lifeguard, or pool manager/assistant pool manager: $150* per referral for your and $150 for your friend, after your friend works 150 hours;
- For referring an INDOOR pool lifeguard: $100* per referral and $100 for your friend, after your friend works 100 hours
- If you refer 3 or more friends: receive an extra $75!
- ELIGIBILITY TO REFER
Only Summer 2025 applicants and current employees are eligible to participate in the Referral Program. You and the person you refer must become an employee in Summer 2025 and work for a minimum of 75 hours. The referral incentive will be awarded if all conditions below are met:
- Referred candidate cannot be a current High Sierra Pools employee.
- All referrals must be submitted to Human Resources via the online Candidate Referral Form or during the online application process.
- Referrers can submit their friend’s name using the yellow button below for the Candidate Referral Form
- Applicants can indicated the name of their referrer at the end of the online application: On the question “” he/she should select “Referral from a friend,” then complete the field “Friend name” with the name of the person who referred them.
- You can only indicate one name on the employment application, otherwise the referral is considered to be disqualified.
- Failure to submit the referral/referrer name prior to and/or during the application process will result in the applicant not being tracked as a referral.
- Candidates may be referred only once, by one person, to one recruitment source.
- Referred candidates must successfully pass the job interview, receive a job offer, finish American Red Cross certification class, and work during Summer 2025, meeting the hours requirements. If candidate terminates his/her employment at any time during said time frame, the referral incentive will not be awarded.
* The Summer 2025 program closes on August 13; all referral applicants must be hired on or before that date to be eligible. If any of the required conditions is not met, the incentive will not be awarded.
- TIMELINE FOR PAYMENT
- The referral incentives shall be paid on the next pay date after the referred employee meets hours eligibility requirements.
