“Until Help Arrives” Online Class by American Red Cross

The American Red Cross “Until Help Arrives” course is designed to equip students with basic critical action skills to help sustain and potentially save lives during a life-threatening emergency until medical services arrive. This course can benefit a wide range of individuals like the general public, caregivers, parents, students, workplace employees, teachers/educators, etc.

Topics that you will learn in this course include:

• Compression-only CPR (no breaths required)
• Where to find and how to use an AED
• Identify and treat a choking incident
• Understand how to stop life-threatening bleeding
• Respond to overdose and how to treat opioid overdose
